They made a huge mistake on the rules vote. They need to research these kind of issues.
All they did was read The Intercept and they got it totally wrong.

The PAYGO *rule* allows the paygo to be overridden. Without the rule, all large spending
bills would have to follow the paygo law.

Looks like Mr. Reich read The Intercept too which got it totally wrong.
Hopefully he will research this a bit more and have a followup message.

But in practice, it is ignored every time a tax cut needs to be passed.

It is only when social services are under consideration that Paygo is an issue for the GOP.
