... Afghan war is a TRUE STAIN on Russia's history ...TO... the Russian people and part of the reason why the FSU (Former Soviet Union) fell; people lost belief after knowing the war in Afghanistan was an aggressive one proffered by Russia.

To the people of the FSU before Afghanistan Russia wasn't a true aggressor like America was (Nam, Panama, etc) and was on the side of world peace.

After Afghanistan there was none of that lore ... people lost that perspective along with a tone of financial resources that was supposed to keep the country floating during the down times of lower oil prices.

REALLY interesting article from David From here - https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/01/trump-just-endorsed-ussrs-invasion-afghanistan/579361/

What was the power behind the putin demands? Who else might be involved or know some things? Are they 'flippable'?

So weird. What are the odds that ignorant trump ever before heard of Belarus or Montenagro, much less the Russia/Afghanistan conflict of 4 decades ago?

Big question is, exactly what motivated trump to declare these very specific, very weird, things as President. Exactly how did that happen? Doesn't seem like putin casually mentioned it at some time to trump, and then traitortrump just sort of blurted it out.

trump has someone besides putin pumping detail into him. That's why in above thread I threw in word 'flippable ?' That person could testify against trump for a conspiracy law count.

14. Sounds like these declarations are deliberately spaced-out. There has to be a go-between too.

The timing. though, is peculiar. Maybe it doesn't matter to Russia/Putin. They just want some stuff on the record.

Bottom line: RUSSIA OWNS TRUMP.

caters to putin. You got it. It's 'on the record', trump knows [or senses], putin has so many buttons to push on trump.
