Trump's golf club hid undocumented workers' existence from Secret Service: report

Sounds highly illegal to me; if it wasn't, why was their existence hidden?

Trump’s golf club hid undocumented workers’ existence from Secret Service: report

Management at one of Donald Trump’s golf clubs did not include undocumented workers in the list of staff to be vetted by the Secret Service, The New York Times reported Thursday.

Emma Torres, a former kitchen employee from Ecaudor said she was not legally documented to live in America and that her name and the names of other undocumented workers were then removed from the list turned over to the Secret Service.

“A lawyer representing the women has met with investigators from the New Jersey attorney general’s office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, presenting what he said was evidence that managers at the golf club knew that some workers were in the country illegally, and that at least one supervisor helped an employee obtain forged working documents,” The Times explained.

Torres said she had used a fake Social Security number while applying for her job.

“When I learned this is for the Secret Service to see the records of everyone because they are giving protection to Mr. Trump, I rushed to human resources,” Torres told The Times. “I thought, God, what will I do?”

“It’s O.K. No problem,” a supervisor told her — and then scratched her name off the list.

Torres said she then cooperated with the supervisor’s request to name other kitchen workers who were undocumented.

In December, The Washington Post reported that the FBI was investigating whether supervisors at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey gave out fake green cards and Social Security numbers to undocumented workers.

He really is the lowest of the low. LOCK HIM UP! This criminal has shut down our government over a wall when he's the one recruiting, trapping, then abusing/threatening undocumented workers!? How are we letting him get away with this?
