Hours after a newly-sworn in Congresswoman vowed to impeach the motherf*cker, President Donald Trump addressed the concept himself on Twitter.
In the first of two early-morning tweets on the topic Friday, the president accused Democrats of wanting to impeach him because they believe they wont defeat him at the polls in 2020.

The president followed up by citing his high approval rating within the Republican party (while not mentioning his significantly lower numbers with Democrats and Independents) as a reason he shouldnt be impeached.

This is the first known instance of Trump tweeting about the prospect of impeachment. Of course, not coincidentally, the Democratic-controlled House gaveled into session on Thursday.

House Democrats Fulfill Promise
Leave it to the Democrats and the woman who leads them to show you how it's done.

(1,533 posts)Then he believes the bull shit they tell him to keep him happy. "perhaps the greatest election"? "most successful first two years?' He is not dealing with reality and is a danger to the public. Forget the 25th, just commit him to an institution.

(8,037 posts)As I recall, Democrats polled 8 million plus more votes than Republicans nationwide.
And since Benedict Donald openly said the midterms were an election about him (in line with his only core belief: "Everything is always about me" you can reasonably see this enormous gap as judgment upon the shit storm that is his "administration."
Edited to add: don't why there's a smiley face in my post. What I'm trying to do is close the parentheses, but all I get are smiles. Weird.

He apparently has no idea how guilty and unhinged he sounds.

(50,528 posts)There's something basically wrong with a "president" charging the Secret Service to watch him. They had to rent an entire floor of Trump Tower as a command post, and they have to pay him for rooms and cart rentals when he golfs. (Food, I can see: groceries aren't free nor is kitchen staff or energy to prepare it. Given that, the Secret Service should eat at cost, and they eat at full price.)
As to how you impeach the Greatest President of All Time, it's pretty easy: You find 20 Senate Republicans who've had it with his shit.
