I'm in a foul fucking mood.

I caught something today where that fucking asshole responded to a question about whether he can empathize with the federal workers who are not getting a paycheck. He puked up some bullshit about how yes, he can empathize with them, but most of them want the wall.

This son of a bitch is taking us down the sewer. Congress better wake the fuck up (I'm talking about the republican senate).

News outlets better start realizing that Trump doesn't give two shits about his fucking wall. What he does care about however, is making sure this country is destroyed. It is obvious who he is working for, and it ain't us. A needlessly high amount of people are going to die before this prick is out of office.

Congressional republicans who support this piece of shit will be mocked when all is said and done. So why would they continue to support him?

Fear? Complicity? Criminal activity? The answer is yes...to each of these things.

You yourself are in the same boat as me...we can see how dark it is. And when Trump destroys this country, all of the slack jawed motherfuckers will still be walking around stepping on their dicks and flapping their gums about what a great president he is...as they watch all of their worldly goods taken away from them, and their friends and family harmed greatly.

could be the beginning of the end of the country. That doesn't make me happy. I'm a patriot at heart.

Essentially, I agree. It is the Republican Senates fault. Their complicity is the real lynch pin. Trump is clearly either insane or in the pocket of Putin and perhaps both. That is why the Republican Senate is to blame. They are still sane and not treasonously compromised. They still have a chance to save the country and all they have to do is reopen the fucking government.

The founders anticipated a corrupt president willing to destroy the nation to help himself and his foreign benefactors.

But their solution for that was impeachment.

The founders couldn’t plan for a complicit Congress, so in the pocket of rightwing billionaires that they were also willing to destroy the country for money.

In 2016, when Mitch McConnell refused to make a bipartisan effort, at the request of Obama and Biden, to act to preserve this country's electoral process from Russian hacking, he BECAME A TRAITOR.

And, there are many others in the Senate and in the House who are/were just as complicit.

No, they ARE treasonously compromised - in this ugly shit up to their nose hairs.

I firmly believe that when the shit all comes out from the Special Counsel, America is going to be fucking shocked.

The NRA, the RNC, and a shit-ton of Koch fucker think-tanks are so far up Putin's ass you can see Mitch McTurtles smiling face every time Putin opens his mouth.

The ReTrumplican Senate can't and WON'T do a fucking thing to stop Donnie Shit for Brains, because their own complicity and criminal activity would come out.

They saw the Obama coalition. They saw the way the demographics of this country were going, AND THEY PARTNERED WITH AN AUTHORITARIAN THUG TO HELP KEEP THEM IN POWER.

They're packing the courts with a bunch of Russian/Koch funded pricks from the Federalist Society to try to fucking save their sorry asses...and it just might work.

But please make no mistake...the Retrumplican Party is fucking owned by Putin right now. It's the only logical explanation for their inaction in the face of this fucking madman.

The objective is to weaken or ruin America and, by extension, the Western Alliance.

He's taking every thing down, bit by bit.

It's not incompetence.

It's not impulsivity.

He is out to shutter government, crash the administrative structures, eliminate the protections and the safety nets, ruin trade with tariffs and taxes, skew the economy, sow discord, and muck up everything to a grinding halt.

Open eyes, citizens.

CNN would be rabidly anti-Rump, but they are not. To me that's a tell tale sign of the fishiness of corporate media. Even Faux has been laying into the Rump lately, so I am extremely suspicious (not that I listen to Faux. There have been plenty of threads here about it).

I would love to see the Dems run ads in Kentucky asking Mitch why he isn't doing his job.

If he wants to be reelected (which he may not - given his abysmal ratings in his state), he may pay attention.

But Mitch is already filthy Effing rich because of his wife, so he may spend the next two years making our Judiciary thoroughly toxic before he waltzes into the sunset. I'm hoping Mr. Mueller has some dirt on Mitch too. Love to see him in an orange jumpsuit.

Hang in there, Lucky, and keep talking to us at DU. We can make this happen!

on reopening the government piece by piece. Keep track of the House Republicans who vote no. If McCpnnell refuses to bring the smaller bills to the floor we need to hound him.
One of the first bills that Pelosi is going to pass and send to McConnell is reopening the IRS so that people can get their refunds. The pressure needs to mount on Mitch and the Republican/Trump Senators.

My question is what are we — the real patriots — going to do about it? Will we demand punishment or simply be happy when this has up and gone away — until next time. I really don’t care about the nuanced legal definitions of treason. If it looks like, walks like, quacks like .... The GOP is rife with treasonous traitors. What are we going to do about that?

Allow this to continue, the more of them will be voted out of office, and trump is already running republicans away from him and their party in huge numbers, so they're only making it worse for them in 2020 election. Looks like they didn't learn a thing about what happened to them from the the Mid Terms. 2020 is looking like it'll be much worse for trump and the republicans in Congress. You can't hurt that many people with health care robbed from them , tariffs destroying their economy, and shutting down the government hurting millions more without serious consequences. Its backfiring on them , and they know it. Lets hope the Democrats do nothing now and let them suffer from they're own greed, and corruption. Republicans are losing every day this goes on.
