Was Trump Or Any Of His People Successful In Setting Up Backchannel....

communications with Russia and Putin? I know that there was talk about setting up back channel communications - but I don't think I ever read anything about it actually happening.

How else is is that Trump seems to be echoing the Kremlin line every chance he gets?

Is he talking to Putin behind our backs. Did he have conversations with Putin while he was a prisoner in the WH over the holidays?

It's documented that Trump's people were seeking to do it. Given that they and the Russians wanted this, why would they not have succeeded. In the back of my mind I've hoped that somehow this could be documented and bring Trump down. I've also wondered if a non-corrupt administration gets sworn in in 2021, how difficult it will be for them to remove all the moles that will have been embedded in the government.

the Pentagon, and the DoJ, and these would just be the ones planted by Jared, Pompeo, and Jeff Sessions. Trump didn't trust anyone but members of his own family, so I'm guessing that he had his manchild Jared listening in on everyone's conversations.

I'd put money on the probability they did or tried hard enough that there is more than enough evidence in Mueller's hands about it. It will look bad at the least. Be criminal at the worst.

and Air Force One, Mar-a-lago, etc. It's easy to go too conspiracy theory with this, but remember when Trump was screaming that Obama was bugging him? Given what Trump is accused of, shouldn't US counterespionage be directly monitoring him and his staff?
