I keep remembering this remark made on Russia State Television from February 2018:

Everything that POtuS has done, is doing, and will do is at the behest of Moscow, either by direct order or subtle, subconscious pressure. I'm convinced we have a Russian agent infesting the White House, aided and abetted by the leadership of the Republican party. No doubt about it. He hasn't pushed us to civil war--yet--and he is collapsing our economy.

I spend my entire adolescence wondering whether we were going to be incinerated in a nuclear exchange with the Soviets. I remember people speculating on how important a target their particular community might be. I thought in later years the world had made progress and stopped worrying about it. That feeling is coming back.

I know one thing...once we put our government right, Vladimir Putin better start living in bunkers.
