Is Sarah Huckaby Sanders under any legal liability for lying to the public?

Her latest lies were about the "4000 terrorists" caught on our southern border. She tried the same spiel on Chris Wallace, because it was FOX and she thought she could spread the lies without being called on them, but he caught her with the facts.

I do not doubt but that she was following orders and trying to help The trump create a crisis so he could manipulate the "national emergency" on our border. He has more than insinuated that he would act on his own if Congress did not appropriate funds for his floundering issue.

However, it is my understanding that "I was just following orders" is not a legitimate reason to escape prosecution.

She's pretty much stained her reputation until the end of time, but that's about it. If she has trouble finding a job she can always create a scam to milk the Trump-loving rubes for money. "Sarah's Apocalypse Cookbook" perhaps?

Government officials are generally covered under sovereign immunity so she cannot be sued civilly. Criminal liability would have to be established under some section of the US Code. Now if you could prove she were personally profiting you could make a case for fraud. Unfortunately just being a lying piece of excrement isn't a federal crime unless you do it under oath or something akin to that.

This is where our system has broken down and to many in the media let her get away with it. Kudos to Chris Wallace for being prepared for her "4000 terrorists stopped at the border" lie.

So when is the spawn of Huckabutt leaving? I thought she was quitting the end of the year. Is she staying while looking for work? I mean, what kind of an idiot would hire her. Oh, wait...

It didn’t work for the Nixon crew either. Nor Hitlers’ bunch. So no Sarah. You aren’t getting out of this one.
