He’s one of the great actors. He’s played roles of drug addicts to psychotic violent military vets that are completely convincing. When I saw his body in one of the scenes of the drug addict I was shocked to see how skeletal he looked. He was wearing pants but they were hanging low enough that you could see the back of his pelvis bone clearly under the flesh as well as every vertebrae and rib. And his face was so thin that he didn’t even look like himself. His collarbones stood out so much it seemed like it had to be painful.

That was awesomely delicious! Now to sit back and watch the resulting fireworks. I'm guessing that Kavanaugh, while being a dick, was a lightweight dick, and that some or many of these conservative judges being appointed are *serious* dicks. Terrific movie. And Sam Rockwell was wonderful as W. I understand that McKay was tilting the movie more into a sort of dark (very dark) satirical piece, but it balanced pretty well between that and a straight dramatic biopic (but it was much more serious than any recent satire I've seen). Amy Adams was pretty much transformed as well. Not so much in her appearance as just how Machiavellian Lynne Cheney was. She was every bit the Lady Macbeth to her husband, and I'd just opine that she's the more ruthless and cold blooded of the two.
