rump's ignorant behavior, and now that he's threatening this action, it's motivating a lot of those people to get off their butts finally and realize the writing on the wall, and speak out against this ill conceived action. Why can't he govern just normally, and work w/ Congress? Instead of threatening this kind of garbage and belittling the actual concept of what it actually is to have a national emergency.

He's incapably of thinking anything through. He makes snap policy decisions that would keep normal leaders up at night. But when you're willfully ignorant you don't have that knowledge thingy to complicate things. It's easy being president if you're ignorant!

He thinks if he backs down, it will make him look weak to his deplorables. And if that happens, they won't worship him. Everything has to be about him. That is his idea of an emergency.

But it wasn’t just that he didn’t know the name of the department that he was going to cut when he said he was going to cut it, and not only was it that inside this place are nuclear weapons, but those weapons are assembled in the Texas Panhandle. He was the governor of Texas! How on earth do you go through a day as governor of Texas without knowing that you’ve got a nuclear risk in the Texas Panhandle? That’s just mystifying to me.
