Besides the money, how could the Pentagon and the military

be fine with a large segment of their branches and reserves being taken away from danger zones around the world to build a wall. First, they aren't trained as masons. Second, would you be cool with American forces leaving Syria to build a wall and ISIS builds to be a formidable force, not only against Syria, but most of the Middle East? Third, what about this project taking longer than Trump's term? How long will this be and how much will it eventually cost?

But it won't look good. The regular government contractors (the big boys) aren't going to like it one bit either.

The Army Corp will take years even to do the bidding process. And the Seebees are not what they were during WWII.

The plan will be to use money Congress earmarked to the military and funnel it to private contractors. Which is what makes it so legally dubious.

It will be tied up in court for years.

The goal is not to build the wall. But to make his rubes think he is building the wall.

He signals to McTurtle to pass funding for the government, tells his rubes the military is building the wall and acts like he won.

It won’t work, but he is in a corner and needs a way out.
