It was a simple recitation of the speech he has been making since the election - brown people are scary

I would think the networks are wondering why they agreed to preempt their schedule.

At one point he attempted to be sympathetic, which never turns out well for a narcissist.

But after that, he mouthed a bunch of incorrect statistics fed to him on the monitor, ginned up the fear, tried to push the morality button which didn't work so good, but then got rolling on a lot of imaginary blood and guts and his non-existent comforting response to the families of the victims.

Oh, and everything is the Democrats' fault because it all started happening in the last six days apparently.

The whole thing was one big letdown.

It was an updated version of his Presidential announcement speech. Updated only by using blood and guts and gore descriptions of the violent crimes committed by messicans. And he threw in the lie of whatta really nice guy he was to a crime victim’s family.

It was a fun d raiser for his re-election. He asked for money from his constituents for the wall.
