For having an opinion on a show named "The View"? I agree with Whoopie. I wish that AOC would take a breath also. She has been in office less than 1 week. There is much to be learned about her new position. While I love the passion that she has shown as a go getter, I don't want her to be a flash in the pan. It has happened before. I don't want this to turn into being all about AOC and not the people she represents. I am afraid that her haters will turn it into that. She has very smart and successful women peers in Congress that can be beneficial to helping her.

to sit down, shut up, and learn HIS job before opening HIS mouth.

It would be interesting if someone could prove otherwise.

that AOC had criticized John Lewis and Dianne Feinstein. She never has. Goldberg owes her an apology for that.

When other people say what they think, they must apologize.

figure the RWNJs are going to set her up as, but it would be especially annoying if it negatively affected the Democratic Party. That should be the bigger concern here.

but Whoopi has a pretty big platform there, it's hard to ignore that - I haven't seen a response from AOC, I think she will address it even if it's in a subtle way..

Or are we going to pretend that if saying someone should apologize is bullying but being told to just sit down, stop talking, and learn (based on things someone didn't actually say) isn't bullying?

Don't worry, I know the answer. Of course we are going to do that. You clearly think this thread is about bullying Whoopi but Whoopi was just imparting awesome wisdom to a young'en that needs some learning about the adult world.

"The View" has tried to get AOC on their show.. if not already had her on - I wouldn't know, don't watch that crap.. it would be interesting going forward if AOC plays hardball with them( the show), she probably won't because she is more gracious than I would be - but I would tell them.. give woopie girl a day off & I'll come in while she's "off"

Honestly this AOC fascination is bizarre. She needs to back up her talk and put her fire into action. If she was a frumpy looking 50 year old no one would even know who she was. I don't understand crowning her queen until she starts pushing real legislation etc. I hope she does but until she starts backing up her words I won't place all my hopes in her. And that applies to any elected official. They all need to put up or shut up. I'm sick of everyone's sound bites as the country suffers.

Whoopi can say what she wants and AOC can have the last word by putting her words into bills to solve our problems.

I have AOC and AOC:
I guess I’ll try re AOC?

I don’t mind hearing about her once in a while, I think she will do the very best job she can, but I’m done with the pointless drama.
