Couldn't bear to watch all of 45's "speech" last night.....

.... but I watched the whole thing this morning, and one thing became clear: He's a defeated man. That was the most dispassionate plea I've ever seen. The one thing he has been good at is revving up his base, but last night it was more or less.........

We know the end is coming and that he's going down. He's always been a paper tiger and now people are beginning to realize this. The Dems in the House certainly do.

He actually thought he was going to bully them into capitulating? They must still believe their old propaganda about how the Dems are "weak".

It was a really pathetic address.

Someone sprinkled some kind of sedative on his Wheaties. There was no spit spewing from his mouth, no frothing, no nut’in. He clearly had the fire taken out of his rhetoric, as we’ve all seen his usual posture about this subject. His affect was pretty flat, too. For once he didn’t totally bring shame to the Oval Office. Well, except for the lies. That was business as usual.
