I haven't checked Amazon, but I suspect that sales of "We," Charles's Lindbergh book, put it pretty far down in the ranks. In that sentence, "We" is the object of the preposition "of." No problem.

Similarly, "production of 'The King and I' began in {whenever}" works just fine.

"Joining I......" which would be incorrect.

Why are so many folks afraid to use the word "me"? Likewise, why do so many Americans insist on using the word "lay" (which takes an object) instead of "lie" -- as in "I must lie down", and not "I must lay down". That's when I always want to ask "Sure, exactly what is it you want to "lay" down?" This bad grammar is ubiquitous, especially in television, and it's creeping across the border. Ugh!

Now, if Schumer had said "Speaker Pelosi and I will be be joined by....." that would be correct.

It's not that hard folks; just remove the other person from the sentence and that's how you know which pronoun is correct.
