so even then, the correct phrasing would be "at some point in the last year, it was up over 30% since i took office".
obviously it was not up 30% just in the year 2019, not even close.

at the moment it's up about 20.5% since inauguration.

and of course, most of the increase was prior to donnie's stupid tax cut or anything else he did, so most of the credit goes to obama as it was simply a continuation of the bull market that started shortly after obama took office and passed the stimulus and saved the auto business and so on.
