Manafort revelations could put Kellyanne Conway under Mueller scrutiny: campaign data expert

.

Hmm. The plot to cover one's ass gets thicker.

The latest revelations about Paul Manafort’s contacts with an alleged Russian spy could mean that Kellyanne Conway may fall under scrutiny by special counsel Robert Mueller.

David Measer, an advertising and communications expert, explained the importance of the polling data that Manafort shared with Ukrainian associate Konstantin Kilimnik, who Mueller alleges has ties to Russian military intelligence.
.
.
“Sharing polling data with anyone is opening a door to collaborate with them,” Measer said. “Sharing polling data means you’re working together. Conspiring. Making decisions together. Working to destroy the competition.”
.
.

David Measer
? @dmeaser

Everything you need to destroy the competition.

Not so benign anymore.

You know who knows a lot about this? @KellyannePolls -- someone should ask her.

Kellyanne Conway, a veteran Republican pollster, joined the Trump campaign as a senior adviser in July 2016 and was named campaign manager the following month, after Manafort resigned over his ties to Russia.

they used the data to micro target FB users and push nation-wide divisive political planks for plausible deniability to a razor thin win, that they made happen by screwing w the voter roles AND changing the vote tallies. Has'nt been definitively proven yet but the greatest evidence that it DID happen, in my estimation, was the first thing out of every GOPs mouth after the russian revelations...."But the vote tallies werent fudged." You going to believe that anymore? After all the lies? The Electoral College? I guess we have to assume they found Jesus right before changing the tallies, and just couldn't go there? Please.
See GA and FLA even AFTER the russians meddling/war like behavior was uncovered. But, no votes were changed.
I say BULL SHIT. But, that's just me.

Machines are never independently audited, the manufacturer claims proprietary rights.

What people say is that we have no proof that any votes were flipped, and that is a correct statement. What could also be said is that we have no proof that votes were not flipped.

Auditing an electronic voting machine is a worthless, futile act. These are computers; they compute what they are 'told' to compute.

When I heard about the polling data, I thought of her immediately since polling was her specialty. Awhile back her name came up briefly in connection to deceased operative Peter Smith who was trying to get Clinton emails and had told a reporter that she was someone in the campaign who along with Flynn wanted to get hacked Clinton emails.

More than I do. But just because she knows about polls doesn't mean she knew they were going to Russia. And giving polls to manafort would be normal, right

There is such an avalanche of info being revealed daily that it is well-nigh impossible for the average news junkie to take it all in and keep it straight. (That's what we have Rachel for!)

So, I had forgotten until just reminded that she was The Pollster. Oh yeah, Gish Gallop Kellyanne was in it up to her wrinkled neck.

Manafort was campaign manager in the summer of, what...2016? If that's when Manafort gave the polling data to Russia, Kellyanne may not have known about it. As a key person in the campaign, the polling data would have been given to him. He would have been able to do anything with it he wanted w/o Kellyanne knowing.

She may have known. But just saying...giving Manafort the data, as part of the campaign team, isn't enough of a connection to implicate her.
