There's a madman in the White House and our hands are tied

The vast majority of Americans want to see him gone.

But the Constitution provides only two ways to get rid of him: Impeachment by the House and conviction by the Senate; or the 25th Amendment (google it).

Neither of these two options will happen because they both rely on Republicans to act responsibly and sanely. And we know that the Republican Party has become irresponsible, cowardly and totally nuts.

There is no other way to get rid of a sitting president other than these two options. So we are being fucked by the limitations the Constitutions places on the body politic, and also by the Republican Party.

The Constitution was never intended to be a suicide pact. But as of right now, it seems that it is.

It's starting to happen, Trump's base is eroding. Once Mueller's report comes out with hard, damning evidence of conspiracy, GOP will turn on him.

I expect Trump will resign by Labor Day.

resignation with "undisclosed medical condition" as the reason. He can have it classified and the next POTUS wont de-classify it.

It will be nonsense, but it will allow him to leave due to "no fault of his own" with no admission he can't win re-election or that he did anything wrong. He will then fight criminal charges for the rest of his life, probably trying to use this as a reason he can't be charged. He's 73 and would likely never see the inside of a jail anyway(given the appeals process and the fact he is a former POTUS - he would get the equivalent of "house arrest for life" if any charges stick). Bet on it.
