Everytime he goes off into one of his horror scenarios, it sounds like a D-grade script from some cheesy production: blindfolded women gasping for air, clutching their bambinos; oversized, superpower vehicles storming the underprotected borders; shifty migrants peddling their ill-gotten wares to support their trek northward; hoards of immigrants surging forward as one in order to destroy weak barriers in their path; corrupt officials accepting bribes, payments and favors to allow illegal entrance.

I swear that he falls asleep in front of the TV nightly, and whatever was on at the time plays through his mind only to become fact the following day in his ramblings. He's losing his faculties, quickly and completely.
