Is the wall more important to the GOP than tax cuts?

I'd like to see someone ask Trump or McConnell that if the wall is so important that they need to declare a national emergency, why don't they roll back some of the tax cuts they passed last year to pay for it?

You can even make it "temporary". As soon as the wall is finished, they get their tax cut back.

Or how about we fund the wall, and we get the public option?
