To invoke it, you need several members of the cabinet, and also Pence.

If Trump ever suspected that a cabinet member might go 25th on him, he would fire that cabinet member immediately. If the cabinet tried to hold a meeting among themselves, some loyalist there would spill the beans to Trump right away.

In a situation like this, the 25th doesn't seem to be very effective. It is more suited to a situation where the president goes into a coma or something.

Accused him of not understanding financial security. After the below the belt dig, which he deserves. I would like to see the rest of what happened. The president is an idiot. No one can or will parse out the nuances of the language he is having flung at him, to the extent he could understand it. He's an idiot. She knows she has a toddler on her hands yet maintains decorum even while throwing verbal punches. He's WAY out of his league.

One very important point I'd like to offer is that by definition, in social work and psychological communities, anger is said to be the indicator of fear. If a person is angry, one should ask, what is that person afraid of because anger is fear, in translation.

Thanks for sharing, swag.

This is absolutely true, and why there is so much anger abroad in our country today. Everyone is frankly scared shitless. The repugs are terrified of losing whatever status and privilege they've had (whether from wealth, race, religion, etc.). The rest of us are terrified those idiots are going to burn it all to the ground with us all inside.

Folks went spelunking through the Romney family history, and found that wife Ann had tried her hand at making up a hardscrabble up-from-poverty story for the Romneys. Things were tough for these two crazy kids who were just starting out in life, what with paying for college and starting a family. Money was so tight that the young Romneys had to sell some stock that Daddy Romney had given them. Oh, the shame of it all!

I'm waiting for Trump to put this argument forward for federal employees trying to stretch their savings over an open-ended government shutdown.

Mr. President, years ago I tried to find fault with Nancy Pelosi
because I thought the Democrats needed a bad ass in leadership
instead of some softie female. Wow, I had no idea how off-base
I was.

You need to learn to say yes ma'am and no ma'am.

As an "old school" (i.e. polite) politician, Nancy Pelosi is absolutely devastating.

I suddenly fully understand her daughter's comment: "she'll cut your head off and you won't even know you're bleeding."

It might take Trump days or weeks to understand he's lost. He'll only know it when he bleeds out.

Remember how popular Bill Clinton became for saying "I feel your pain"? We've gone from "I feel your pain" to "I am your pain." I hope she can work in the tidbit about Trump getting a quarter-mil annual salary from his daddy when he was three years old. That toddler could miss a few paychecks but most people can't.
