Q13 (Seattle) staffer fired after airing altered Trump video on station
A Q13 staffer has reportedly been fired after the station aired what seems to be a doctored video of President Donald Trump's Tuesday night address.
In the video run on Seattle's FOX affiliate, Trump was made to look as if he was sticking his tongue out for an unusually long amount of time, and it appeared to be saturated so that his pallor and hair appeared more orange.
According to a Seattle Times story, Q13 released a statement stating, "This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light."
Later Thursday morning, Q13 news director Erica Hill released another statement saying "We've completed our investigation into this incident and determined that the actions were the result of an individual editor whose employment has been terminated."
