Mueller can't go on a fishing expedition - he has to keep the investigation targeted specifically to its initial purpose. However, if during the course of it, he stumbles on evidence of criminal acts, yes, he can indict. So if he's investigating Trump, and finds evidence that McConnell had contact with Russian spies, and he broke the law, yes, he can be prosecuted.

How can they stop RUMPS pardons before continuing. (that's what they are trying to figure out! My thoughts here)

...then on McConnell right after that, directly implicating him in Russiagate. That'll make a pardon politically impossible, and force McConnell to resign.

Because of the pardon issue, timing is crucial with regard to who gets indicted and exactly when.

As long as Pence is defrocked, getting the don to leave is going to have to take place nearly simultaneously in order to get them both out and unpardonable. At that point we can have the third person in succession step in and restore some sanity and Constitutional Law enforcement.

That's the sequence of events that will need the most consideration as far as I can tell. I hope the Independence Day holiday is one we can all celebrate.

If Indicted THEN if pardoned, wouldn't Turtle have to accept pardon? If he did then he could NOT stay in the senate. Am i correct about this?
