Here's an easy test to find out whether the Covington Catholic High situation contains racism:

Inverse the races. Dark-skinned people become Caucasians and vice versa.

Then we would have a lonely white protester calling attention to old-fashioned european culture, while being surrounded by a hooting and hollering mob of black people, mocking him, shouting "Black Power", and one black guy getting right up into his face and starring him down.

How would Fox News and Republicans react to such a situation?
Would they be outraged if the roles were reversed?
Then Yes, the situation contains racism.

We already know how this would end. Black people aren't allowed to look white people in the eye.

The kids...what a joke. The parents or guardians, where were they?

If the roles were reversed in the way that you outline, would the reaction here be any different?

Most of us don't consider ourselves violent, but some things and people make us so angry that even we have violent impulses that we would probably never act on.
