(13,565 posts)...there are many millions of people who haven't watched a basketball game ever with enough attention to be curious about hand signs.
Certainly it never occurred to me. Haven't seen basketball since jr high and that was many a moon ago. Even then, I wouldn't have been watching hand signs. I would have been giggling with my friends in the bleachers.
Not everyone watches basketball.
