When Trump learned that Putin was trying to recruit him, he probably thought Trump Tower Moscow

would finally happen.

Wasnt it August 2016 when Trump was briefed by the Obama administration, that the Russians we're trying to influence the presidential campaign and would be trying to help Trump?

What is the likelihood that Trump thought: Ahah! Putin will be willing to help the project proceed!

I'm going with 100% likelihood that Trump thought that.

For the next several months, through the election at least, Trump was actively involved with trying to move the project forward.

So, Trump knowingly, and for personal gain, let a foreign hostile government influence him.

The Trump Tower Moscow deal proves it.
