The OSC's spokesman, Peter Carr, said this: "BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the special counsel’s office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony are not accurate." More likely than not, Buzzfeed got its info from the SNDY. The OSC is trying to make it clear that they didn't leak. There may be discrepancies between what Cohen told the SDNY and what he told the OSC, which could also explain why Mueller gave him a better deal. Mueller did not say or suggest that Buzzfeed lied.

So it comes down to what is your definition of "not accurate".. A missed decimal point can make something not accurate, yes?

the Buzzfeed reporters intentionally misstated, that is, lied, about anything. In fact, they've since said that they continue to stand by their story.
