A rhetorical campaign question with a sobering but predictable answer.
In a largely overlooked August 18, 2016 speech, then-GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump extemporaneously cited a litany of problems plaguing black Americans.
<snip>
And turning to squarely face reporters cameras, Trump declared for the first time in his campaign that only he could make life better for African Americans. He then asked for their votes with a haunting and memorable question.
What the hell do you have to lose? Trump asked black voters...
<snip>
The Trump administrations damage to black America is evident by its promulgation of policies that are blissfully ignorant of their disparate impact on communities of color. These include:

Trumps presidential campaign, in fact, was a cavalcade of racisms greatest hits intended to amuse and delight a subset of white American voters, beginning with the escalator ride that led to his opening campaign proposals to ban Muslims from entering the country and defaming Mexicans as rapists and criminals.

The Trump administrations damage to black America is evident by its promulgation of policies that are blissfully ignorant of their disparate impact on communities of color. These include:
*Damnable retrenchments in fair housing access at the Department of Housing and Urban Development
*Revitalizing the so-call war on drugs and ramping up mass incarceration polices under former Attorney General Jeff Sessions Department of Justice
*Overlooking black Americans wealth gap, even as the economy expands and unemployment is at historic lows
*Budget cuts of more than $200 billion over the coming decade in the Supplemental Nutrition Program (or SNAP) for Women, Infants and Children, which disproportionately will increase hunger or food insecurity among black Americans.

Learn. Let history not repeat itself in our lifetimes. Only vote for democrats. I don't know of one republican who cares two cents about anyone of color. They want to use you for your labor, but that's all. They don't want you around them. They don't want you associating with them. They don't want to see your face, your spouses or your children. Work for them for nothing, then go back to the black hole in the universe where they cannot see you. Everything you see on Fox News, is how they see people of color. Always has been that way. Always will be that way.
Don't support republicans and don't vote for them.

... He tried to convince them they're better off than the Mexicans, Cubans and Puerto Ricans.
Terrible lies, duplicity, bullying and cowardice: that's how Cheeto treats our black citizens. Almost all of them can see it and they know it's wrong for them and it's wrong for all of us.

the wall and embrace a publics work program. That would move him to solving real, big problems. Failing infrastructure and unemployment. But, he appears to be too stupid.
