4. I'll be happy once Gabbard and Gillibrand bow out...

..then there won't be any "hold my nose" candidates left. Especially since hopefully neither of them stand a chance (although I do worry that the powers that be are going to put their weight behind Gillibrand and succeed at rebranding her) of making it far in the primary.

I hope Biden doesn't run, but not because I don't like him just because I think we stand the least chance of generating the excitement we'll need if he's the nominee.

Everyone else?

But after Trump, I think we need the steadiest hands at the wheel to fix the mess at home and restore our reputation abroad. One term, then pass it on to the next generation.

19. We need some degree of excitement for turnout....

...at this point if it's just old white guy against old white guy, they will get the turn out and will win.

As 2018 showed we need turnout, turnout, and more turnout. That requires excitement.

9. If he makes a big enough splash in the early primary debates and drops out at the right time

before Iowa (if he's losing) and before the registration deadline, he'd definitely be the frontrunner for the nom.

Same goes for Swalwell, who is contemplating a prez run, in the CA-Sen if Harris wins the nomination and then the general. Running for President and losing the nomination without creating a bitter divide is a great way to increase one's political chances for future office.

8. #1,2,3

Great list. I hope the ticket is a combination of #1,2, or 3

I hate that Ohio can't f'n elect a Dem Governor. Would hate to lose that seat with the gavel being so close for the Dems to pick up in 2020 or 2022.

Unfortunately, I think Bernie is too low. Hopefully, Warren and Beto will take the progressive baton from Bernie in this cycle!!

Only 3 on that list that I would hold my nose to vote for.

11. Dems bench is soooooo deep this cycle!!

Every candidate has a negative or two (for example my negative on Brown in that the Dems would lose a senate seat), but any combo there would be a great ticket!!

And the only GOP with a chance would be Haley. 2020 should be a good cycle for Dems.

move 1 to 3, 9 to 1, 14 to 17, 5 to 1, 8 to 17, 2 to 3, 7 to 6, 11 to 1. Yeah, that fixes it.

I like Brown, O'Rourke, Harris, Warren, Booker, Klobuchar.

I'll have to research some of the rest.
I would like to see two women on the ticket. I really believe that would win.
