Barbara Boxer says that there is an "emergency" but it is not the "wall"...

It is the "shutdown".

She was a guest on Ari's Show on MSNBC.

I think Democrats may want to pick up on her point? It is an "emergency" that the government be opened immediately.

Period.

He is holding 800,000 Government workers hostage. I just someone or somebody would mention this is Putin's plan to cripple us, divide and conquer us, through this unspeakable cretin and those in Congress who are screwing the American people.

Rather than waiting and sitting on their hands, each faction of legislators needs to put together their proposals/solutions, get together and legislate!

I've seen her recently, frequently weighing in on the issues we're facing now - and I'm reminded how back in the day I often envisioned her as our first female president. I'm sure that she's happier and less stressed being out of the "hot seat" right now, but I'm glad that she's back and speaking out - I just hope that her long-time allies in Congress are still listening to what she has to say.

Maybe we can pick up on that point?

The wall is a distraction from the shutdown which is a distraction from the Mueller investigation.
