Trump's Greatest Folly ...

… and we all know a million of ‘em, so it’s hard to narrow it down to one – is that he ever held the belief that Putin was seriously considering a Trump Tower in Moscow.

Putin may be a lot of things – but stupid isn’t one of them.

Why would Vlad – reputed to be the richest man in the world – even consider a business venture with an oft-bankrupt, lying blowhard whose failures are a matter of public record? Why would Putin, who has an undisputedly iron grip on his own country, ever need the so-called “expertise” of a self-absorbed idiot to build and run a hotel?

The idea that Trump believed, whole-heartedly, that a master manipulator like Putin wasn’t smart enough to manipulate him speaks for itself.

If Putin once had any illusions (highly doubtful) that Trump was what he claimed to be – a successful self-made man – those illusions have been shattered by revelations that Mr. Self-Made Billionaire was nothing more than the family dotard who relied on daddy’s money to bail him out time and time again.

Apparently, Vlad is far smarter than a lot of people – including the GOP powers-that-be that didn’t bother to vet their “pResident” in as much detail as Putin did. Obviously he knows what a total failure looks like, while the Republicans are still coming to grips with the bleedin’ obvious.

The idea that Trump was still pursuing “the Moscow Trump Tower” project during his candidacy and his “pResidency” speaks volumes about just how delusional he is. He actually believed that someone of Putin’s intellect and political savvy would somehow see himself reliant on a man who had been easily cornered by his own financial desperation.

Putin can build – or have built – a Putin Tower in the middle of Moscow tomorrow if he so desires. He could give contracts-to-construct to his favourite businessmen, and expect kickbacks in return for that consideration. He could fund that business venture from his personal funds without missing a ruble.

And yet, the Idiot in the Oval Office continues to believe that he is the necessary cog in a wheel that oh-so-obviously can operate much better without him.

Trump has demonstrated his incredibly ignorant view of the world time and again – and never so obviously as when he displayed his belief that Putin has any interest in him, other than as a puppet to be manipulated in furtherance of his own agenda.

In short, the fact that Trump actually believes his own bullshit is beyond bizarre – it is insane.

And, every single thing in his life is transactional. Everything must be seen as a win for Trump, so no losing allowed.

4. The fact that he 'believes his own bullshit' has been an amazing thing to observe

As he has "served" as president the past two years.

And has proved to be his undoing over and over again. Right now he believes he has a winning strategy in closing the government to hold out for the wall. The people are happy to go without paychecks to get that result, and Nancy Pelosi will forever be seen as weak on security because of all this.

This seems to have cracked and in seeped a little bit of reality (it's hard to tell), but long after the damage has been done.

Putin never expected to make Donald president. His goal was to sow division and suspicion of the democratic process in the US. He succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. He chose Trump because he was the ideal asset: easy to manipulate, greedy, in debt, ignorant, inexperienced, and narcissistic.

9. Trump Tower Moscow was the spinnerbait to hook the biggest largemouth!

This is the key to much of Trump's denial of fact about "Russian collusion". In fishing terms, Miss Universe & Uncle Pervy do Moscow wasn't bait, it was chum! Once Donny Double Bass was chummed in close, he swallowed the = of a live bullfrog on a 4-way grapple hook.
Master Angler Putin then let him swim away, with a light line trailing from his mouth! Donny is no flounder - he knew, if he was ever to actually taste that yummy bait, he had to bring more big fish along!

Putin subdivides and conquers,
Putin's driven Donald bonkers
With greed and power, blackmail guilt,
Putin's made a crazy quilt
Of Donald Trump's speed-snorting mind,
Patches stitched to keep Trump blind.

Distract the base with caravans!
Though non-existent, Trump demands
A wall to make us fear each other,
A civil war is coming, brother,
Hate designed to make us kill,
Make Putin's stooge king of the hill,
Or hell, no matter how you see it,
Dictators rule -- he'll soon decree it.

So we give Syria to the Russians,
We can't be NATO's kissing cousins,
Petro-chemical fueling rules,
Sanctions lifted, oligarch pools
Of Russian money buy corruption,
Democracy screwed by their destruction.

12. Trump thought he had it in the gut!

Then Putin the Piscesator Trumped Trump's play. Doofus Don did his best, to lose by a little, shed Melanie and the brat, and assume his rightful place in the Moscow penthouse.
Vlad the Angler had other plans. His minions toggled the win light on, startling the quarry!

Then,THE HOOK IS SET!!!!!!! The line that Biggest Bass had kind of forgotten about, is now anchored in his guts, and it ain't leavin' 'til he's filleted.
