Called my Congresswoman to suggest a bill allowing Air Traffic Controllers to strike

Allow TSA employees to strike as well with the condition it only applies IF they aren’t being paid.

I know it will never become law, but it may have some symbolic impact.

If we could close down air travel, the shutdown would end.

Failure to reach a conclusion on a new budget should AUTOMATICALLY default to a ongoing Continuing Resolution that extends the previous budget for the interim.

I'm sorry, but even symbolically this is rediculous. We don't want them to strike. We want them to be paid. What would be the point at this time?

Wouldn't also mind seeing loan guarantees, etc, so they can continue a somewhat normal life.

That’s the point.

Add something to the discussion about what may happen.

Sooner or later either the ATC could strike illegally or the pilots could illegally strike in sympathy.
