Sadly, not all liars are conservative. I do not believe the two things are connected like that. But I have observed that more conservatives are liars than are progressives.

But it's an interesting question to ponder. I think if conservatives suddenly stopped lying, then Fox News would cease to exist or to have as much appeal. I think that we'd be in a much stronger position of having an impeachment result in conviction and removal.

Lying is ingrained into that bastardization. Is it inextricable? I don't see how one can be of them and not be a liar. This predates Unindicted Co-Conspirator. Reagan had "supply-side economics" and Iran Contra. GHWB was involved in Iran Contra up to his eyeballs. GWB lied us into a war. Their few intellectuals spoke of "the noble lie."
