Mormon Gay Conversion Therapist Now 'Choosing to Pursue Life' as Homosexual

But how does he live with himself knowing how many people he's brainwashed into living unfulfilling lives in the closet? How many young adults have turned to suicide because of him (and people like him).

It's great that he's being honest with himself... but what is he doing to undo the real harm he caused so many others???

Mormon Gay Conversion Therapist Now ‘Choosing to Pursue Life’ as Homosexual

A prominent gay conversion therapist and active member of the “ex-gay” scene has announced his intentions to start a new life as a homosexual. David Matheson, author of the book Becoming a Whole Man and creator of several experimental programs which seek to “address incongruous same-sex attractions” revealed he is now seeking to date men.

The announcement was revealed by fellow gay conversation advocate Rich Wyler, founder of the People Can Change organization, in a post to a private Facebook group obtained by Truth Wins Out (TWO), a group who fight against anti-LGBT prejudice and discrimination.

“David…says that living a single, celibate life ‘just isn’t feasible' for him, so he’s seeking a male partner,” Wyler wrote. “He has gone from bisexuality to exclusively gay.”

In a further statement to TWO, Matheson, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, confirmed the statement from Wyler, adding his time in a straight marriage and the “ex-gay” world was “genuine and sincere and a rich blessing to me.”

“Ex-gay” therapist allegedly found looking for sex on Manhunt and Gay Bear Nation

Psychologist who tries to 'cure' LGBTQ people reportedly used the screen name "hotnhairy72"

A conversion therapy psychologist in Florida who tries to ‘cure’ his clients’ homosexuality has allegedly been discovered using gay hookup sites.

Norman Goldwasser, the clinical director of Horizon Psychologist Services in Miami Beach, was reportedly found looking for sex on Manhunt and Gay Bear Nation under the screename “hotnhairy.”

The discovery was made by Wayne Besen, founder and executive director of LGBTQ nonprofit Truth Wins Out, who said he had been alerted to Goldwasser’s profiles by a former client who had undergone conversion therapy.

Besen claims that Goldwasser, who has previously compared homosexuality to obsessive-compulsive disorder, operated the profiles “hotnhairy72” on Manhunt and “Hotnhairy” on Gay Bear Nation.

Goldwasser, who co-wrote a paper in 2006 arguing that homosexuality could be treated, allegedly advertised himself on Manhunt as a “45 [year-old] hairy built guy looking for someone similar and normal for regular hookups,” according to screenshots.

The profile adds that he is “into hairy guys only” and describes him as “very oral, mostly a top [and] looking to meet up nights or weekend.”

I'm glad a "former client" didn't fall for this bullshittery and was actively watching old hotnhairy.

... and they laughed and laughed. I wasn't sure what was so funny, but I guess it was just the shock that I was asking!

How many parents of kids sent to his conversion therapy are going to be needing refunds? I mean, this is the best proof that conversion therapy is a bunch of evil nonsense.

Convenient. Especially since conservatives can't admit they were/are wrong. So it's a choice.

9. I agree... only, that's an impossible task. So he cannot be forgiven. He should be shunned.

How many kids have killed themselves because they'd rather be DEAD than to live in constant denial and forced shame?

... rather than a life of denial, unhappiness, and forced shame and guilt.

Fuck him for all the harm that he and his "ex-gay" cult did to people. I hope he's shunned.

if even the godliest of godly people can't resist the "lure" of the "homosexual lifestyle", maybe this means that sexual orientation is more ingrained than a lot of these people want to admit.
