Democratic leadership and all others in the spotlight should begin to say that

when there is a Democratic President and a Democratic Senate to go along with the House then it will be a priority to do away with the possibility of a Government Shutdown. This sort of thing should be impossible under such circumstances. People who are suffering now might still remember these hardships for themselves and their friends and family in 2020. Our 2020 vision (copyright me) needs to include prevention of such egregious political tactics.

I applaud the leadership for standing up to Trump. I believe that Democrats need to start drawing the lines for the future, too. Things will change when we are allowed to take the reins again. Then we must really come through in an intelligent and forceful way. This is what I believe. What say you?
