Some are trashing Trump, others are trying to see a silver lining. The full article title is “Right-wing media split over Trump's shutdown decision: Did he cave or was it a master stroke?” I don’t think CNN is suggesting that the cave was a master stroke.

Even though it makes zero sense. And it's really pathetic, actually.

It's a fair point that the fight is not over because he can always try again, but it's absurd to call it a "master stroke". That's exactly the type of propaganda the right has long used to seduce the easily-led msm to air their spin.

I admit far fetched, but normal doesn't apply to this administration.

Dotard agrees to reopen the government in exchange for the RNC cancelling the 2020 Repuke presidential primaries....thereby Dotard is assured to be the Repuke nominee for 2020.

Probably not, but nothing surprises me anymore.
