Mulvaney: Trump's "willing to do whatever it takes" to get his wall, including another shutdown

White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that Trump’s goal is to work with Congress.

“What he wants to do is fix this the way that things are supposed to get fixed with our government which is through legislation,” Mulvaney said.

Mulvaney said the president didn’t want another shutdown, but he would do it if necessary.

“Keep in mind he’s willing to do whatever it takes to secure the border,” he said.

This president is very weak and it is time for everyone to start acting like it.

Come back and say something like "to get the wall then you have to give us this..." Right now Trump is asking for something from the Dems without really giving anything up. What incentive do the Dems in Congress have to give him this money? If he wants his wall i think we start asking him to give us something we want.

I mean, does he really think that if this plays out again in three weeks, the results will be any different?

And his opening gambit, once again, is "I'll be proud to own this shutdown"?

Dems have got to be shaking in their boots.

He lies constantly, plus, what gets overlooked sometimes, he's just not very smart - so to think he's a skillful negotiator is putting him way too many steps up on the ladder from where he belongs.

After a resounding victory by Speaker Pelosi and Senator Schumer, I have to believe that the Democrats in the House and Senate are feeling MUCH better about their position, as well as the support that has grown for them over the lock-out.
This can only give them even more backbone to stand up to the hollow BS that IQ45 will try to throw out there in the coming weeks leading up the the next deadline.

This is the REAL BASE speaking:

BE STRONG - YOU ARE RIGHT - WE SUPPORT YOU!!!!!!!
