Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsJust read a post by someone who's "never going to like" Nancy Pelosi.
And YET is really impressed with her now.
I don't know whether the person is a Democrat, an Independent, or Republican, just that the (non-public) site includes non-Trumpers of every stripe.
I'm never going to like her. I will STAND ON A WALL.....AND DECLARE HOW WELL SHE DOES HER JOB. HOW MUCH SHE HAS DONE TO MAKE THE WORD GOVERNMENT MEAN =elected Representatives from every district in the Nation WHO WEIGH AND BALANCE, GIVE AND LET GO, use respect and knowledge and understand that "tolerance -the word- means agree even when it's not everyone's 1st choice, and they will for the good of mankind make it work. Tolerance is not a term of endearment. It's a term of consideration - like the others have the same rights . Dignity.
I like to think that Americans all over the country are developing a new respect for the Speaker of the House.

I've read even on DU about people who just don't "like" Nancy, I wasn't very surprised. (Though I can never understand why.)

(108,972 posts)6. Did you read the body of the post, though? This is a CONVERT.
Someone who has never liked Pelosi greatly respects what she is accomplishing.
I'm happy to see that.

(42,770 posts)8. Sounds like the person is crazy or drunk or both. Yet I have never
understood why it's not ok to not want her as party leader. Isn't it a person's freedom of choice and opinion?

I'm impressed. I was never anti-Nancy, but now I see her strengths.
