My father lived through the Great Depression as did my mother. Grandapa had a picture of FDR in the dining room over their table.

I'll tell you, they were all Union folk and yes, all Democrats, the only party I've ever know as a "real" American!

It helps to have such fabulous internet capabilities. But I am as engaged politically as I ever have been in my life.

This convention has been amazing. And the contrast to the RNC is HUGE.
