there are people who believe it or not, are not watching, and did not watch last week either.

And those are the ones that at times drive me nuts.

It's not too hard to find the transcripts. I don't care how flowery the presentation, what is the structure of the arguments. I mean I appreciate a good speech as an art form be it Hitler or Reagan, but I can read many times faster and with better comprehension than I could ever listen (am hearing impaired). So please don't think that those of who don't watch don't follow, understand, and care.

but you knew that.

Most of the population does not watch it... your reasons are different than most, but you are NOT most of the population.

I am just pointing that in reality MOST Americans do not watch EITHER convention, and truth be told, have no interest either. Are you in that group? By your own posting, you are not.

Oh and in case you wonder, you don't need a tv if you wanted to listen, though I get it why you don't, but there is this little thing, old invention I know, going back to Marconi, called Radio.

And there are a few these days that listen to the speeches that way, because the images are distracting.

I listen to them, on the TV, just because it has better speakers.
