The media spin on the Democrats and Obama is the most brazenly biased I've ever seen. Every station is trying to out do Fox with outright lying, editing and distortion.

And the money has not really hit the fan yet and the GOP has not finished trying to buy the election.

There is no way, with the kind of convention we had, with the wide variety of people there who do still believe in this country, and that hard work and honest dealing will make their lives better, for us to lose in an honest election. This is not one, so we are still in doubt.

But I'm not at all in doubt about the rightness of our cause the love and energy that so many delegates had there. I have told people I know that he is the best POTUS since Kennedy, but at this time, I see him as the best in my life.

question then becomes one of whether or not they get any return on those expenditures. They'll put up ad after ad, but if they are of a similar quality to their convention, they hopefully won't do much to fire up the base or win over undecideds. The DNC should run snippets of the convention as their ads.

The voter intimidation was pretty bad this year in some special elections and of course in 2010. They've also got the teabaggers going and still disrupting every government they can find and trying to evict all Democrats. Not going on in all areas, but I've read of them doing it at planning meetings, and every place where they suspect Democrats are meeting, in parks, anywhere. Real brownshirting.

I've been having to use other search engines to get away from the bias. But it's getting harder because they flood the net with bots to skew the most popular. As soon as you get past the GOP swill, the search results rapidly fall into Chinese. I used to be able to get great, fast, non-commercial results from Scroogle but they got wiped out this year. Never found anything as good.

Comments. They appear to be written by a bunch of kids sitting in their rooms churning out crap. They have no common sense or knowledge base. They just blather on about Obama or Obummer or some other slur. They are awful so I just don't even look at them any more since they are very predictable. Juvenile humor that only appeals to a pimply faced kid, sucking down Pepsi and eating Cheetos. Don't even waste your time reading them. They offer you NO insight to the general population and how THEY are responding to the speech tonight.

The entire GOP theme.

"We hate Obama"

How is it any different than their long term plan?

"We hate government"

No solutions. No plan. Just wipe out government. That will solve everything.

No solutions. No Plan. Just defeat Obama. That will solve everything.

See a pattern there?

Yes, there are still the usual assholes, usually with Christian College education (for some reason.) But I've noticed that Yahoo in particular is just SWAMPED with paid trolls since August.

You can easily recognize them. Most have names like "PaulS" or "BobG" or something generic and American sounding. And they post the same type of crap over and over again. Yahoo, including their news, is a cesspool. I don't even read the comments anymore.
