Let me get this straight:
A 100 year GOP domination of the White House will kick off Chuck Norris's "1000 years of darkness"?
Republicans need to sync their various calendars of destruction together.

(14,177 posts)Except it wouldn't take the GOP one hundred years to lead us into a thousand years of darkness. I think they can do it in under a decade.

Boy Locked in Refrigerator Eats Own Foot
The attribution belongs to that great, and lamentedly passed on, the Weekly World News, formerly available at grocery check outs everywhere. The trouble was that nobody ever bought the damned thing. They'd read it in the checkout line while waiting for the person with five baskets full of groceries to check out. Then, you put it back in the rack when your turn came.
Sad to see it go. I have nothing to read in the checkout, and I don't give a shit about Lindsay Lohan or the Kardashians or about who won Dancing With the fucking Stars last week, or the hottest designer outfits you absolutely have to wear.
Maybe that's why I spend so much time on DU. Maybe I ought to start watching The Bold and the Beautiful starting tomorrow. Too bad The Guiding Light is long gone. I could use some of that now that the Weekly World News is gone.

We need to get the truth out and fight their bullshit. Just like we did against Rush for his remarks on Sandra Fluke.

(25,226 posts)maybe they would vote for Obama in November.
If you ponder this - it was a real stupid thing for Fox News to say. There are so many stupid Repugs out there that might sacrifice the next 4 years for Repug dominance in the next 100 years.
Or is Fox just trying to begin making lemonade out of their lemons and an excuse for a big loss in Nov.

The Democratic Party does not nor will have 60 liberal and progressives votes in the Senate all it takes is 1 Blue Dog to muck things up, the Kochs and the like know this. Joe Manchin is one fine example of one of the 'problems'.
We have seen it time and time again.
