(5,105 posts)These "polls" are unscientific, which is of course enough to pass as valid on Fox Noise, but I still have to believe that the adults are out there, somewhere, and lately my poking around on the web has shown far more supporters of reality than the invisible-boogeyman's army of whackos can deliver to try to claim otherwise.

(40,416 posts)On line polling is pointless and meaningless. The fact that they can be gamed by DU or FR or Pharyngula attests to their irrelevance.
I used to participate because it felt wonderful when DU turned one poll after another. But the polls which went the wrong way, began disappearing. And those which didn't wouldn't be reported by the usual TV news program if it didn't go according to preconceived assumptions.
Online polls are irrelevant.
Others may disagree, but I do not think there will be many.
I apologize for this. But I think these are the basic facts. Too bad. DUing polls was fun.

We can't let that second one stand, right?

(44 posts)Yes they are the ENEMY of Freedom and America, the true repuke believers that no amount of truth and fact will change their minds they are beyond hope or salvation.
Posting about FreeRepublic only legitimizes them.

(2,239 posts)However, anything that shows something is popular or winning can have an effect on the uneducated mind. Just like yard signs. Uneducated minds, still vote. I don't want Obama to simply win, I want him to win by a landslide.
Give your guy more yard signs and internet poll in his/her favor.
