The Farce of the President's Impeachment Defense

There’s nothing really to write about the President’s defense in the Impeachment Trial. It’s not a defense, because they don’t have one. It’s a series of lies, lies, and more lies.

John Bolton is no hero. He’s no patriot. If he were, he would have testified during the House Hearings. Instead, he sat on it, because he has a book that he wants to sell. And, that’s what the ‘ leak’ about the details in his book are about. He’s afraid that the White House will try and block publishing of his book. Now, he already collected $ 2 million as an advance, but, no book sales, he won’t get anymore money. And, if this book doesn’t sell, then how is he going to sell any future books. The only thing remotely informative from Bolton’s ‘leaked’ excerpts is that it further confirms that William Barr is a crook, a liar, and deserves to be impeached TOO. Unlike the other clowns that Dolt45 has hired, Bolton knows actual procedure, and what he’s supposed to do. Like others, he knew how to leave a trail. He knew what kinds of receipts he had to have written on Dolt45 and his criminality.

As far as the GOP Senators talking about being blindsided…

ARE.YOU.KIDDING.ME?

You aren’t blindsided when you refuse to call those who were in the room. This has been their doublespeak all along. The House’s case can’t be believed, because those who testified ‘ weren’t in the room’, and it’s nothing but ‘hearsay’. But, they won’t vote to call the witnesses who WERE ACTUALLY IN THE ROOM, because they aren’t interested in the truth. They aren’t interested in hearing from those with direct knowledge, because what they would say WOULD CONVICT THE PRESIDENT.

NONE of them have a spine.
NONE of them have a backbone.
NONE are taking their oath to the Constitution seriously.
