I have been faithfully watching the impeachment proceedings and trial.....

and the questioning today…...but I have decided since it seems on Friday it will be all over then why waste my time watching any more. All I can do is hope November brings down this corrupt mob-like administration and that the bastardly no backbone republicans lose the senate. I would be better off emotionally and mentally by reading a good book or watching a great movie on Netflix. I now spend too much time being angry or in tears lamenting what has happened to our country.

I get sucked in, and it's like a bottomless pit of despair. It's like crack, but without the high.

Watching comedies, spending time with my family, doing what makes me happy. I can't change the outcome, so I want to be mentally and emotionally prepared for whatever we all have to face.

For the long hours of shameless, soul-numbing, Republican betrayals, no way. My husband and I appreciated a summary that took just about the right amount of time to catch up on their argument:

"He didn't do it, if he did it doesn't matter, and Biden sucks."
