Additional questions for Ds to ask both the House managers and WH counsel

1) In Watergate, essentially all the Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee agreed that Nixon's order to the CIA to tell the FBI to stop its investigation into the burglary into the DNC headquarters was an abuse of power and an obstruction of justice. The CIA and the FBI are both part of the Executive Branch and technically under the President's command. How was that an impeachable offense, but what Trump did is not?

2) One of the three articles of impeachment against Richard Nixon was using the IRS to investigate his political enemies. How is that an impeachable offense, but what Trump did not?

3) Nixon's order to have the CIA block the FBI's investigation into the Watergate burglary lasted only 10 days. Ultimately, all the House Judiciary Committee members (both Ds and Rs) found this to be an impeachable as both an abuse of power and an obstruction of justice. How can Trump then claim that he ultimately relented in giving Ukraine aid somehow exonerates his refusal to give the aid for several weeks?

But this has always been about exposing the rampant corruption of the Rs, from Trump to McConnell to etc.

Questions like this, coupled with the ABSOLUTELY brilliant performance of the House Managers such as Adam Schiff, will make great soundbites/election commercials.

Furthermore, there's nothing keeping the House Ds from continuing investigations for next several months.

My teenager laughed out loud when she heard Dershowitz's claim that Trump can do what he wants so long as it's in furtherance of his re-election.

WHATEVER the outcome, I've got to hand it to Speaker Pelosi and Chairpersons Schiff and Nadler....you done good!
