if he thought it would help him get re-elected since he believes his re-election is in the public interest? Isn't that what Douchewitz is arguing? How about bribing voters? Hacking voting machines? Counting the votes of dead people? Under that theory there's no limit to the crimes a president could commit and get away with in order to secure his re-election?
