What does it mean when they withhold intelligence from Congress?

More specifically, from the House Intel Committee? Adam Schiff said yesterday this was happening. How safe does that make you feel?

Not only do they not obey any subpoenas, they also ignore the right of Congress to have access to our intelligence information.

We are beyond a constitutional crisis point.

I think maybe the best the Democrats can do today is to pressure the Chief Justice to make some sort of rulings, just to show that our democracy is still intact?

Make them uncomfortable. Make them vote. Do not give them an easy way out.

It means:

To the Republicans: Nothing.

To the Democrats: Obstruction, an impeachable offense.

I see the danger in politicizing the intelligence community. If, at the behest of the WH, intelligence agencies won’t communicate the very information that could illuminate the sources of threats and misinformation, then how could Senators possibly make informed decisions in the impeachment trial and matters of election security?

Well, they can’t make good decisions. If republican legislators are okay with this, then they are complicit with this WH and accepting of a functionally dictatorial presidency.
