Irony?

Is it just me, or is it supremely ironic that the president’s counsel asserts that impeachment deprives voters of the right to choose their president, especially in light of the fact that this president, like the last one of his party, gained the office after losing the popular vote?

they are entirely consistent in that they will say anything and everything that helps their side.

to think of their statements are intellectually inconsistent is to credit them with giving a rat's behind about intellectual consistency.

they *only* care about doing and saying what benefits themselves and their party.

claiming victory despite losing the popular vote benefits themselves and their party
making lame excuses for donnie's high crimes and misdemeanors benefits themselves and their party.

see? entirely consistent. everything they do makes sense if you simply recognize them as the blindly partisan *ssholes they are.
