to suggest a reasonable time limit. Makes it harder to argue wiith, though I know they will.

If the motion to have witnesses succeeds, they will call them. Dems can oppose it, should not make deals, but that is what will happen.

It will put a lot more pressure on the republicans, and make it a lot harder for them to vote to reject witnesses.

It would also make great ads during the elections to point out that the Democrats made this agreement and still the republicans reject it.
